Thank you, Ramon. I'm glad you like it! You can upload your songs through a music distribution service like Amuse, which handles the publishing & copyright for you. They make sure every YouTube video that uses your audio, will be claimed in your name by them. If you want to make sure that a music distribution service like Amuse detects the audio, then you need to play at least 30 seconds of the audio in your video. My friend and I found this out when we were experimenting with copyrighted audio in our videos (these were not public).

Unfortunately (but maybe a good thing too), the length of the played copyrighted audio does not affect the amount of revenue you'll receive. Only the amount of copyright claims you've done.
